We provide a friendly meeting place and drop in clinic, where a health visitor is available from 10.30-11.30am to give advice and support where needed. There is the opportunity to weigh your baby after their 6 week check. However you are welcome to come along for a play and meet our users from bump! It offers a great way to make new friends and meet up with parents with babies of a similar age.
The first Tuesday of every month is a focused ‘Welcome’ session for new parents and carers to Patchwork, everyone; new and old users are welcome. The health visitors can give you information on the Breastfeeding support group.
Patchwork Health sessions are run by volunteer committee parents who set up the equipment, ensure they are available to answer questions and tidy up the equipment. We all have our own children and would be delighted for help and support during the sessions. If you are new to Patchwork, let the committee member know and they will get you to complete a registration form and chat you through the session as well as introduce you to other parents.
