 THE FIELD OF DREAMS

Above is our Field Of Dreams with a seating capacity is 15 (if you squeeze together on the bench) now known as the Prestoungrange Gothenburg Oval. A very good location for cricket in the centre of Prestonpans and one that we are proud of since moving from the frozen tundra of Meadowmill Sports Centre after 11years since the clubs founding in 1991.

This move was due to the persistance of our infamous all-rounder Mano, who successfully developed  the Polwarth Project whilst adopting the"build it andthey will come" mantra. From hounding every single person who expressed an interest in the idea has lead the Belivanis email address to be one of the most dreaded and blocked addresses in council history. The club would like to ask just one thing though, where exactly is Mano's plans for the pavilion's dancefloor?

As the club has gotten settled in it's new home, developments on and off the field have began. In 2006, through a grant from Awards For All, the training nets were astroturfed, a surface that in 2008 made it's way onto the square itself when another successfull grant application lead to the installation of the astroturf strip - primarily used for junior and evening games.

Starting soon, hopefully, will be the much needed refurbishment and modernising of the pavilion. But thats for the future......

Below is the approved plans for the pavilion. (larger versions are available on request).
